Baseball 2009 : St. Benedict's baseball team hit the road for a Saturday matinee against Montclair on May 2. Although the Gray Bees fell to the Mounties, there was some exciting action from the opening inning when leadoff hitter Austin Koiquah was gunned down at the plate after being picked off third. Stephen Downar was hit by a ptich and eventually came around to score on an infield single by Gabe Drouet in the second. Downar also added a run-scoring, infield single of his own in the following frame, which plated Rich Fagan to complete to scoring for the Gray Bees in a 15-2 setback.
