Craig White '04 - Sachs Award Winner 2016
Craig White ‘04, who was bestowed the highest honor as a student when he was named the Presidential Award winner at the conclusion of his senior year, has now added a another prestigious accolade as a teacher – the 2016 Raymond J. Sachs Sr.'25 Award for Distinguished Teaching. The Sachs Award is presented annually to a faculty member nominated by their peers for outstanding work with students, both in the classroom and beyond. The recipient exemplifies the demanding criteria in St. Benedict's "Profile of the Teacher." SBP Athletic Director, Tom Leahy, last year's recipient, presented the award to White before the school community and his family in Conlin Auditorium.
