2012 Senior Alumni Luncheon
There was another huge turnout for the Senior Alumni Luncheon. The annual event, for St. Benedict’s graduates who received their diplomas more than 50 years ago, was held on June 8 at The Breakers in Spring Lake and drew a packed house of nearly 200. And, once again, two of our elder statesmen, Charles Manger, from the Class of ’31, and Henry Lubben, from the Class of ’32, were in attendance. Lubben was given a special “Eightieth Jubilee Citation” from St. Benedict’s for celebrating his 80th anniversary of his graduation from The Hive. Manger, who was given the same award last year, said he has his citation proudly displayed on his wall at home.
