The Senior Alumni Luncheon, for any St. Benedict's alums who graduated 50 years ago or more, was held Friday, June 8, in Spring Lake on the Jersey Shore. The event, in its 31st year, attracted more than 150 for the annual gathering at The Breakers on the Ocean and featured Fr. Edwin’s annual state of the school address followed by Q&A session. Edward Bien, from the Class of '39, was the oldest alum to attend the event, just ahead of Jack Mooney, from the Class of ’40. Class of ’57 attendee, Patrick Dunphy, travelled from California for the event, while Dr. Robert Stanley, a 1955 graduate of The Hive, made the journey up from Alabama. The Class of '56 had the most attendees with 19, just one more than the Class of '63.
