The Class of ’56 held their annual “First Friday” get-together on Dec. 3 at Bella Italia in Orange. The Men of ’56 have had a holiday gathering every year since graduation, a record unmatched, by any other class. Bill Mealia and Vinnie Lorenzo coordinate the effort in getting their classmates to attend, while Mark Mauriello was the one who chose the current location for the evening of fun, food, drinks and reminiscing over a dozen years ago. Fr. Edwin usually appears to give a brief “state of the school” – and answers questions, as he did this year for the 45 attendees.
