"Yellow Face"
St. Benedict's Drama Guild staged its Spring production, “Yellow Face,” by David Henry Hwang from March 17-20. St. Benedict’s Patricia Flynn directed the satire, a finalist for the 2008 Pulitzer Prize, that raises deep questions of what race really means, how politics and media function in society, what America really stands for, the importance of both fact and fiction, and who we are. The cast included Erby Beauvil, Edward Kos, Farrad Williams, William Brown, Mark Hawthorne Jr., Joshua DeSousa, Khalil Li, Ajuah Powell, Chloe Tanis. The crew was made up of James Benjamin, Devin Conley, Ruben Cunas, Omari Dawud, Josdanson Exume, Marcus Garcia, Chardwin Jean-Baptiste, Daniel Krusznis, William Nnorom, Brandon Ocampo-Marin, Alex Pintado, Anell Sanchez, Peter Santiago and Addae Williams.
