The Benedictines of Newark Abbey held their 12th Annual Monkfest on Sunday, Aug. 21. The family festival, which was moved from July to August this year, offered plenty of ethnic foods provided by guests, along with music, prayer, games and tours of the monastery and St. Benedict's Prep. The celebration lasted all afternoon and concluded with evening Vespers in the Conlin Auditorium in Cawley Hall.
