Monkfest 2012
The Benedictines of Newark Abbey celebrated the 13th Annual Monkfest on Sunday, Aug. 19. The family festival offered those in attendance plenty of food, music, games and prayer - Fr. Al played his guitar and art teacher Pamela Wye-Hunsinger had her students treat children to free face painting, while Pat Flynn’s summer drama class presented its work. The day ended with Vespers in Conlin Auditorium.
